A dream I had last night:

There was a knock at my door. Three times, then nothing.

No one else heard, only me.

I opened the door. There she was standing. It was me. I couldn't belive what I saw.

The door slammed shut and when I opened it again, I was gone.

People always say, "Don't have any regrets." But honestly, how can we not have regrets? Moments in time that pull at our stomach muscles, making us wish we could take it all back and make the memories fade away. I have a few and so do you.

We grew up together and we were inseparable - We grew apart from each other

We finished each other's sentences - We stopped talking altogether

We did everything together - We stopped being with each other

We laughed together and cried together - We stopped looking at each other

We were completely, totally in sync - We didn't match anymore

We told each other secrets in the beginning - We told each other lies in the end

We talked on the phone for hours - I forgot  your number and so did you

We were best friends and soulmates - We became strangers

Even though we aint friends no more I still wonder what S does sometimes and how she is. Now I know that S and I never will live next door to each other and grow old together.  But I also know that there are parts of me-parts of me that makes me realise that I'm glad that I've got to know her.

"All of you wish that we told you what you've done wrong. I'm quite sure that you've been wondering why we have to chain you and why we leave you all alone. Yes, you where cute when you where growing up but that's only because you where just a pup. We promised that we would train you, feed you, take walks with you until the end and we also said that you would be our companion and our friend. Now some years later there you lay without a noice you wished that they would give you away because you couldn't find a reason to stay. All the promises they gave where just words and now you keep on wondering what did go wrong? You've come to a point that you wished you where gone."
